First Words is intended to be used by children together with, or under the supervision of, a parent or guardian. A family account may only be created by an adult parent or guardian, who is responsible for the child profiles created under that account.

You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account. Let us know right away if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in a way that could harm the Service or other users;

First Words provides general early-learning content (vocabulary, phonetics, letters, and counting) for entertainment and educational purposes. It is not a substitute for professional educational assessment or advice, and we make no guarantee about specific learning outcomes.

Free service

First Words is currently offered free of charge. We may introduce paid features in the future; if we do, we'll make clear what's free and what isn't before you're asked to pay for anything.
